Falardeau inspires at MFRC

A deeply personal tale turned into a night of inspiration for women who attended last weeks event at the Women’s Conference held at 4 Wing Cold Lake. Kelly Falardeau was on hand to share her story. Falardeau was just two years old when she suffered severe burns on about 75 percent of her body. Her cousins were burning shingles when a spark from the fire lit her dress ablaze.

The event, hosted by the Military Family Resource Centre, allowed Falardeau to share her message of hope and inspire women to love themselves, inside and out. She is due to be the star of a documentary entitled “Still Beautiful”, which has yet to be released.
