St. Paul hospital gala a magical time

The St.Paul Hospital Foundation is gearing up for its March 3rd fundraiser gala. The foundation is hoping to raise around $117,000 for some new equipment for the facility. Noreen Brousseau is the chairperson of the St.Paul Hospital Foundation, she says the gala has something for everyone.

“We have dinner, than we have our magician Sheldon Casavant. He was here last year, he was amazing. Then we have a live and silent auction.”

When it comes to the equipment the hospital is looking to purchase, Brousseau lays out a couple of items. “A bariatric bed, a bladder scanner that will replace an aged one. Some new ultrasound probe cleaning equipment, and holter monitor software.”

She says they only sell 320 tickets to the event to ensure a full house at the St.Paul Recreation Centre. Tickets for the the gala are on sale until February 23rd, and can be bought at the St. Paul Hospital administration office.
