Imperial Oil Neighbour Night Nov 21st

Imperial Oil will be hosting their annual neighbour night on November 21st at the Bonnyville C2 Fieldhouse.

“It really is an open house,” says Spokesperson Lisa Schmidt.”It will have a number of areas where people can learn about different parts of [our] operation and what we are doing in terms of protecting the environment, also what we have for potential job opportunities and other things we have. It’s a real variety of information.”

There will also be an area detailing progress on the ongoing Cold Lake site expansion. The upgrades are planned to use a new oil recovery method that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The open house alternates between Bonnyville and Cold Lake every year.
