Ward 7 Recount In Lac La Biche Leads to No Changes

Lac La Biche County has finished their recount for Ward 7 in Monday’s Municipal Election, with no change in who was elected.

The County says none of the candidates, official agents or scrutineers requested a recount. The Returning Officer made the decision after reviewing the ballot accounts for three of the voting stations, and determining that the number of rejected ballots had the potential to affect the results.

While the recount didn’t change the ultimate result, the final vote totals are slightly changed in the advance poll and at the hospital polling station. The changed results are below.
