The Family & Community Support Services, in Cold Lake, along with The Lakeland Credit Union are teaming up to teach kids financial literacy. On April 24th, The Lakeland Credit Union will be hosting a Healthy Wealthy and Wise Program for kids aged 9-12 to help kids achieve a better understanding of everyday banking and gain the basic knowledge that’ll help them throughout the years.

Berube notes that the Lakeland Credit Union hopes to partner with the FCSS in Bonnyville or the Boys and Girls club to bring the program to Bonnyville. Berube says “registration is open to all kids, regardless of their residency”. Visit The FCSS online for more information or to sign your child up.
