The MD of Bonnyville has Tuesday, February 27th of next year as the date to auction off property that taxes haven’t been paid on.
Staff started out with 81 properties on the auction list, but have now whittled it down to five owned by three people. The MD is hoping to have the taxes paid up before December or have owners enter a tax agreement so that the auction isn’t necessary at all.
If it does come down to an auction, it will be held at 2 pm. in the Council Chambers.
