Construction season is not going out with a whimper in St. Paul. The town has announced that construction on 50th avenue will close down the westbound lanes between 45th and 46th street.
The construction will shut down the lanes for both Tuesday and Wednesday. The eastbound lanes will instead accommodate both directions. A detour will be set up for bigger vehicles such as trucks and oversized loads on 53rd avenue between Highway 881 and 48th street.
