Woman Arrested for Fraud in Cold Lake

A 23-year-old woman has been arrested on fraud charges after trying to use a stolen cheque at the Cold Lake Money Mart.

An employee at the store was suspicious and called the owner of the cheques the woman handed them. The owner told them that his vehicle had been broken into the night before and his cheque book had been stolen.

RCMP promptly arrived to the store after the employee called them and made the arrest.
