Country 99 3-Peats on “Best Team Spirit” at Chili Cookoff

Country 99 is officially a dynasty, having won the the award for “Best Team Spirit” for the third year in a row at the annual Bonnyville Chili Cook off.

This year we got the prize as a bunch of “fake news” reporters, decking our table out in newspaper and serving the crowd “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Chili” featuring some delicious macaroni in the mix. We had substance as well as style too. For the first time ever we came runners up in the Over All Sensational Chili category, only getting beaten out by Nelson Lumber.

Over 600 people attended to event with all proceeds going to the SPCA.
