Section of Cold Lake to Be Closed to Cars and People on Canada Day

The City of Cold Lake is advising residents that a a section of land by the marina will be completely closed down to cars and pedestrians for a few hours on Canada Day.

The city will be setting off fireworks as part of the festivities and will be closing off the section to comply with safety regulations. People will not be allowed to park or stand in the area outlined above as well. The city can’t start the fireworks if any vehicles or people are in the “fall out zone” and strongly encourages everyone to cooperate.

The Marina launch will also be closed that day from 10:00 pm to 12:15 am.
