Cold Lake Officers Trying to Fill The Boat in Food Bank Donations Sunday

Cold Lakers have already filled up a plow in food bank donations last month and a police cruiser last December. Now their goal this weekend is to fill up a boat.

Local law enforcement for the city will be holding a food drive at the Sobey’s parking lot this Sunday from twelve to four in the afternoon. Residents are encouraged to bring a food donation for the Cold Lake Food Bank. The May campaign to fill a plow was organized by the Public Works Department and saw 739.3 kilograms of food and $2,137.60 raised for the organization.

The food bank is located in the Cold Lake Community Baptist Church and is open 10 AM to 2:30 PM on Fridays and from 6 PM to 8 PM on Wednesdays.
