NLPS Communications Officer Recives Provincial Award

Communications Officer for Northern Lights Public Schools Nicole Garner has won a provincial award for her position.

Garner has been recognized Public School Boards’ Association of Alberta. receiving a certificate of  Special Contribution to Public School Education in Media. A former Bonnyville new reporter, Garner has also received a Coup de Coeur award from the Canadian Association of Communicators in Education for her publication “Community Update 2015”.

“As a parent, community member and in her role in NLPS, Nicole Garner is a true champion of Public Education and is highly deserving of this special recognition,” says NLPS Vice-Chair, Arlene Hrynyk.

Nicole’s contribution to Public Education was recognized in Red Deer at the Public School Boards’ Association of Alberta’s Spring General Assembly on Saturday.
