3 on 3 Basketball Tourney Being Organized in Elk Point

The County of St. Paul and Elk Point FCSS have announced that they will be hosting a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in Elk Point at the end of next month on July 30th.

Games will be located at the outdoor courts at t Elk Point Elementary and the first games will begin at 11:00. Each game will last 20 minutes (two 10 minute halves) and there will be a 1 minute half-time. The format will guarantee at least three games to each team. Anyone who displays poor sportsmanship may be ejected from the game or tournament.

Teams can have between three to six players of any age. There will have two categories – one for participants going into grades 4-9, and one for participants older than grade 9 age. Minors must have a waiver signed by parents upon arrival at the tournament.

The team fee is $20.00 to be paid prior to participating in the event – on the day of the tournament. Only cash and cheques accepted.
