4 Wing Cold Lake will be holding a military parade through Bonnyville and accept the freedom of the city honours on May 5th.
Freedom of the City is a historic tradition signifying great respect for the unit’s Officers and Personnel. The Parade will start between 10: 15 and 10:30 at the Centennial Centre and eventually make its way to the Provincial Building where a ceremony will be held. The Ceremony will end with a flyover of some planes from the military base. After the Ceremony, the public are welcome to attend a short reception for 4 Wing Cold Lake personnel, to be held at the Cenovus Arena at the Centennial Centre.
The Town and M.D. of Bonnyville thank the entire community for their continued cooperation and assistance, and we look forward to having you join us for the Freedom of the City parade.
