Lac La Biche County Council has set the tax rates for 2017.
The residential mill rate is not changing this year, staying put at 2.5259. The non-residential rate in the Urban Service Areas, which applies mostly to small businesses in and around the hamlets of Lac La Biche and Plamondon, has been reduced by two mills to 10.1688. The rate for non-residential properties in all other areas of the County has not changed from last year, remaining at 18.5585.
Official tax notices will be mailed to all ratepayers soon. The deadline to pay taxes without penalties is Friday, June 30th.
