LCSD Keeps Grades the Same, Finds More Space

The Lakeland Catholic School District has decided to keep the setup of grades at their Bonnyville schools unchanged.

The board had been considering the idea for a while, even going so far as to invite parents to an open forum on the subject back in March. However, a motion was passed at their last meeting to keep all the grades in the same schools and to keep the preschool at  École Notre Dame Elementary  right where it is.

The district says the motion will free up more space at ENDHS  by “maximizing existing spaces in the building.” Current rooms 24 and 26 will be made into three classrooms and the music room will have a wall built to divide it into two new classrooms.  The new music room will be at the end of the hall next to the preschool
