Bonnyville Chamber Holding Session on Trip to China

Executive Director for the Bonnyville & District Chamber of Commerce Andrea Yaremie has just come back from a trip to China. She’ll be sharing her experience there and see if there’s interest in a chamber sponsored trip to the country on Thursday.

Yaremie will be hosting the Chamber’s Discover China presentation at 6 that evening at the Shaw House>

“For me the biggest thing that stood out was just the incredible blend of Chinese heritage, tradition and culture contrasted and yet current with the rapid modernity and transforming into a major player in the world,” says Yaremie on her recent trip.

The trip is still in the very early planning stages and a date hasn’t been set yet. This session is a first step to see how many people are interested.

“We really encourage people to come out and learn a little bit more,” adds Yaremie. “There’s no commitments that need to be made , but it helps give people a better understanding of what it’s all about and the potential opportunity they could have travelling with the chamber to China.
