Some of the Lac La Biche Bold Center’s facilities will be closed from the 11th to 19th as they host the 2017 3D Indoor Canadian National Archery Championships.
The public is invited to watch as over 250 of the county’s top archers go head to head for national supremacy. However, Field Houses 1 and 2 will both be reserved for the competition for the whole run and the running track will be closed all day on the 15th and until 3 on the 16th.The gym will remain open.
Although a lot of the competitors are from Alberta, every province from BC to Ontario has a healthy representation. The championship can be thought of as a bit of a trial run for when Lac La Biche hosts the world championship in 2019.
