Lac La Biche County continues to explore its options in installing security cameras downtown.
Council held a special meeting in January to discuss the issue and directed administration to come back with some options on how to implement it. Manager of Information Technology Travis Simmons presented two methods to council at their latest meeting; either the county could hand out grants to businesses to install their own or the County could set up a network of its own.
No firm decision was made and the matter was deferred to a future meeting.
