The Cold Lake Public Library’s south branch will see two award winning authors visit next month.
Jacqueline Guest has written over a dozen books for young readers, specializing in sports themes and historical fiction. Many of her main characters come from different ethnic backgrounds, including First Nations, Inuit and Métis. Her books have been finalists for the Willa award and the High Plains Book Awards.
David A. Poulsen has been a broadcaster, teacher, football coach, actor,  and veteran of the rodeo circuit in addition to writing more than twenty books. His resume includes Old Man, which was short-listed for the Forest of Reading White Pine award, and Numbers which won the Sakura Medal in Japan.
Both will be at the south branch library on Thursday, April 27th at 6:30 PM. No registration is required and everyone is welcome.
