Both the County of St. Paul and MD of Bonnyville have introduced road bans as the spring rolls around.
A 75% load restriction on posted roads in the County of St. Paul will take effect at 7 AM on Monday. For more information contact the County of St. Paul shop at 780-645-3006.
The MD’s is already in effect starting today and is at a 90 percent capacity on alll roads, with the exception of the La Corey North Resource Road. No drilling rig movements will be approved on M.D. roads during this time. Starting in May, MD staff will go road to road deciding if the restrictions will be lifted on that stretch or not. This is very dependent on the weather and the condition they find the road in.
