The Lakeland Primary Care Network has announced plans to launch an 8 week support program for caregivers in St. Paul starting March 29th.
The Network includes a broad range of categories under the caregiver label, including those taking care of elderly parents, mentally and/or physically ill loved ones and children with disabilities.
Topics covered will include managing stress, avoiding burnout, family dynamics and navigating supports and programs. Meetings will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8 at their offices located in the Wellness Centre.
There is no charge and space is limited. Please RSVP to Aimy at 780-645-1188 Ext 33. A waiting list will be kept once they have hit group capacity.
