A Bonnyville man has been slapped with the maximum fine of 2,300 dollars and a 60-day driving suspension after being caught speeding at a whopping 202 kilometres an hour on Highway 831 south of Boyle.
Although the incident dates back to May of 2016, the judgement was handed down just last week. It appears the judge wanted to make an example of him and a Calgary man who was caught going “only” 181 kilometres an hour around the same time on Highway 63.
