Man Fails To Trick Officers by Providing Fake Name

Some Cold Lake RCMP members were at the 7-11 on February 12th when they spotted a man they knew was on conditions go inside. Or did they?

Yes they did, but that didn’t stop the man from providing a fake name and insisting he was someone else. This despite police recognizing him from a previous incdient. The officer looked up the detachment’s system and sure enough, the person they were speaking to was 24-year-old Nathan Piche, who also had several warrants out from Lethbridge. He was arrested and has been charged with obstructing a police officer and driving while disqualified.

His warrants from Lethbridge include three counts of breaching probation, mischief over $5,000, two counts ofuttering threats, and pulling a fire alarm in a non-emergency.
