Cold Lake RCMP and Firefighters to Face Eachother on the Ice Again

After the success of last year’s game, the Cold Lake RCMP and Cold Lake Fire Services are getting ready for another contest at the Energy Centre on April 22nd.

After winning 8-6 last year, the RCMP will be looking to defend their title in the second annual charity hockey game between the two. All ticket, concession and 50/50 draw sales will be donated to Cold Lake Victim Services. There will be a silent auction at the game as well. Warm-up is scheduled for 6:30 with the puck dropping at 7.

Tickets for adults aged 17 and older are ten dollars each, youths between 7 and 16 are five dollars and kids 6 and under get in free. No word yet if there will be similar on ice shenanigans – including extra players on the ice and a few extra pucks for the heck of it – this go around but don’t be surprised if there is.
