Glendon Gunning For Small Town Saturday Night

The Village of Glendon wants to bring a little bit of Big Valley Jamboree to the Lakeland this year with their bid to host the festival’s “Small Town Saturday Night.”

Small towns from all over the province are eligible to throw their hat in the ring, with the winner getting to host a mini-BVJ concert featuring Gord Bamford on April 29th.

It’s a long road ahead for the home of the perogy statue though. The first round of public voting begins on February 1st and lasts until the 15th. The top 10 towns then go onto the next round of voting from March 13th to 27th, where a winner will be selected. A BVJ Bandit Membership is required to vote and only one vote per member per day is allowed.
