Cyr Drops By Northern Lights Board Meeting

MLA Scott Cyr dropped by Wednesday’s Northern Lights board meeting to discuss several issues, including infrastructure priorities, the carbon tax and transportation.

The Board reiterated the capital priorities included in its three- and 10-year capital plans. The current top priority is a new high school for Bonnyville. The Board also indicated it is open to looking at ways to make student transportation more efficient, including working with other local school boards, provided that co-operation does not negatively impact Northern Lights students.
