St. Paul Library Offering Free Memberships For a Year

To celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday as well as their own 50th anniversary, the St. Paul Municipal Library is offering free 1-year-memberships to anyone in town who wants them.

“This free membership initiative is supported by our library board, the town of St. Paul and the County of St. Paul library board,” says Manager Angela Hanson. She adds that there’s already been some interest generated from the move. “In the first two days we had five new memberships and over ten renewals. Today we’ve had one new membership and two renewals. It’s doing really well.”

In addition to new sign-ups those who renew their memberships will be able to do so for free as well. The deal will be available for all of 2017. All you need to do is bring ID.
