Elk Point Council has decided to change the yield sign at 57th avenue and 48th street after a resident expressed concerns about increasing traffic in the area.
The issue was taken to the Public Works Department, who agreed that upgrading the yield sign to a stop sign would be a good idea. The change will be made sometime in the next few weeks, with the public being given plenty of notice.
