A 27-year-old man has died after being hit by a truck in Saddle Lake on Saturday.
A witness at the scene told police that a white Ford F-150 truck hit the man while he was lying on the road. The truck also collided with a vehicle nearby and then fled the scene.
Traffic was diverted for several hours while St. Paul RCMP along with an RCMP Collision Analyst conducted the investigation.
The suspected truck in the incident was later recovered on the reserve, though no accompanying driver was found.
