Elk Point RCMP Investigating String of Vehicle B&Es and Stolen Truck

Elk Point RCMP believe the same group is responsible for four different vehicle Break and Enters late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

For the most part, the theives took small items, such as change in consoles, cigarettes, documents and the like. However, in one case a chain saw was stolen from the box of a truck and in another a a rifle stolen from the cab of a truck warming up in the victim’s driveway.

The public is asked to ensure that their vehicles are locked and to remove anything that these suspects may be interested in stealing. The public is also asked to lock vehicles while they are warming them up as they could be the target of thieves.

The Elk Point RCMP are also looking for a stolen 2006 Blue Chevrolet Silverado, with a broken/missing driver side rear window which was stolen overnight on Monday.
