Light at the end of the Tunnel for 28 and Veterans Construction

Cold Lakers have been dealing with construction at one of the city’s busiest intersections for months now, but it’s almost done.

Crews will be testing the newly installed traffic lights at Highway 28 and Veteran’s Drive over the next few days and then plan to open the brand new intersection shortly after.

Some small work on the curbs and medians might still be left to finish, but once the lights are in working order, it should be a return to regular traffic.
