Sasktel Restores Service to Pierceland

After nearly a week of being out of commission due to a fire at Sasktel’s building in the area, Pierceland residents are once again enjoying full phone and internet services.

Sasktel was able to get things fully back to normal by early Friday morning. RCMP say that the fire that burned out their service building was accidental, but haven’t elaborated beyond that.

“We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience this may have caused them, but thank them for their patience,” says Greg Jacobs with Sasktel’s Corporate Communications department. “Especially in this case, considering the length of time services were out.”

Cellular service had been restored a bit earlier on November 4th, but landline and internet only came back on early into the long weekend.
