Cold Lake Smashes Temperature Record

Today was by far the hottest November 8th in Cold Lake since records began 63 years ago.

Temperatures today peaked at 14.2 degrees, demolishing the previous high set in 1962. That year saw a mere high of 10.2. This time last year it was a much cooler 4 degree day outside.

Average temperatures on this day in Cold Lake are bang on the 0 mark. Today’s weather though will likely skew that up a fair bit.

The lowest temperature recorded on November 8th was in 1986. It was -19.2 degrees that day.
