St. Paul received four blooms out of five in this year’s Communities in Bloom contest, hosted just down the road in Cold Lake.
The program is a non-profit organization aimed creating civic pride and beautification. Communities in the program are judged either provincially or nationally by a volunteer jury of trained professionals. St. Paul received an impressive four blooms out of five, but so did the other competitor in its category Barrhead. The judges decided to give the community northwest of Edmonton the top honours.
