Special Olympics Lakeland is looking for some new volunteers at its AGM tomorrow.

The meeting is scheduled for 7:15 at the Ardmore Senior’s Centre.  Chair Andrea Yaremie says everyone who wants to help is welcome. “We’re looking for volunteers, whether it be coaches or.. assistants or cheerleaders. Some people just help organize. We’re looking for potential board members. Really, our focus in looking for volunteers is based on what someone has available for their time.”

“It’s that whole spectrum of volunteers we’re looking for. Some people could have absolutely no experience whatsoever and end up being a a great volunteer.”
