The MD of Bonnyville will be helping the Cold Lake First Nations come up with a new waste management program.
Council agreed to partner with Cold Lake First Nations in an application for a Community Infrastructure Partnership Project Grant (CIPP) to deal with waste and recycling. The grant is administered under the Federation of Canadian Municipalities National Pilot Program.
The M.D. will provide advice and guidance in regards to implementing a new waste management program on Cold Lake First Nations, but no financial support for the program is required.
