Pedestrian Dead in Crash Near Lac La Biche

A pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a truck on Highway 36 south of Lac La Biche early Thursday morning.

A 16-year-old male driver of the truck was travelling northbound on Highway 36 when it collided with the pedestrian whose vehicle was later found in the area. The driver was not injured during this collision.

The 38-year-old male pedestrian from Lac La Biche was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Members along with an RCMP Collision Reconstruction Analyst from Edmonton continue to investigate the collision. The name of the deceased will not be released.
