Possession of Guns and Stolen Property in Glendon

Bonnyville RCMP happened upon a man and woman sleeping in a running car on Pyrogy Drive in Glendon last Friday. It was what was right next to the car that really got their attention though.

Officers spotted an SKS Rifle with ammunition laying on the ground next to the vehicle. Upon further investigation they found more guns, stolen identity documents, a stolen 2011 Toyota 4-Runner and small amounts of crystal meth. A 36 year old Indigenous man from Glendon and a 47 year old Caucasian woman from Elk Point were arrested and charged for multiple offences in relation to the seized property. Among the 25 Counts that each accused faces are Possession of Body Armour without a Valid Permit, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Property obtained by Proceeds of Crime and several Drug and Firearms Offences. Their first court appearance is October 25th in Bonnyville.
