WJAC Looking Into Advertising on MD Building

With Bonnyville hosting one of the biggest events in its history this December, the MD is working with the World Junior A Challenge Committee to go big on the promotional front.

MD Council voted to support the committee’s request to paste a giant decal on the side of their town hall. The decal will cover the glass section of the hall. CAO Chris Cambridge told council that decal would go up within the next couple weeks and come down in mid-December.

However, Robb Hunter, who’s in charge of the local committee organizing the challenge, says they still need to work out if the idea is within budget. “There will be some decisions as per cost and once we get it priced out whether or not it will be worthwhile or not.” Should it go through, the decal would be designed by Hockey Canada. What it would look like is not known at this time.
