While having a road block set up on the Cold Lake First Nations to deal with an incident on the 16th, Cold Lake RCMP soon found another problem on their hands.
An 18-year-old male drove head-on into one of the parked police cars at the barricade. Neither the driver nor any of the officers were hurt. However, the driver blew over twice the legal limit and was arrested for Impaired Driving. His court date is scheduled for October 26th.
