Hometown Hockey Coming to Lloydminster March 11-12

The Rogers Hometown Hockey tour has scheduled a stop near the Lakeland this upcoming season.

The event will be in Lloydminster on March 11th and 12th next year. The city will be highlighted on the Rogers Hometown Hockey broadcasts, where Ron MacLean with co-host Tara Slone will host the pre-game, intermission and post-game shows of an NHL broadcast on Sunday. The show will feature visits from local celebrities, alumni, and special guests highlighting Lloydminster to a national audience.

Over the last two NHL seasons, the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour has visited 49 communities across Canada, traveling 56,000 km (more than six times the length of the Canada/US border), while welcoming 400,000 visitors to the festival.
