Cold Lake Mayor says Air Weapons Range Money Not Up for Discussion

City of Cold Lake responds to Bonnyville wanting Air Weapons Range money. Bonnyville council recently made it known that they would like to speak with the city of cold lake in regards to the surplus funds from the air weapons range.

The City of Cold Lake Mayor Craig Copeland says Bonnyville is mistaken and there are no funds available for discussion. Copeland goes on to say although he hopes to continue a relationship with neighbouring communities and the MD, the Air Weapons Range money will continue to be used by The City of Cold Lake at their disposal, as given to them in a deal brokered by the province in an agreement in 2011.
