The M.D. of Bonnyville’ s Agriculture and Waste Services Department is offering farmers the tools they need to prevent migrating waterfowl and hungry skunks from harassing their crops.
Farmers in the M.D. can now borrow scare cannons, which will keep the birds from landing and feeding on grain. Rental is free, but a deposit of $100 Is required. Skunk traps are also being provided.
