A group of volunteers were able to get the playground equipment for Glendon’s Perogy park all ready to go, but there is still plenty of work to be done before it can be opened.
The next step is a completely new landscaping job before the park can be opened in time for the Perogy festival on September 3rd. The village hopes to have the park opened a few days before then.
In addition to a free lunch for helping put the equipment together, volunteers also got to take turns trying out the brand new zip line. Early reviews are overwhelmingly positive.
