The St. Paul RCMP are encouraging Pokemon Go players to be safe while on their quest to catch ’em all.
“While it is encouraging to see so many people of all ages out and about around our town,” a statement by the department reads, “most people have already read about or witnessed incidents where players may be too engrossed in their virtual quest, putting themselves and others at risk.”
RCMP are reminding players to be aware of their surroundings, not to go on private property and to definitely not play and drive. Distracted driving fines now carry hefty demerits. Parents of younger players should know who their child is with and where they’re going.
