Plans for Notre Dame High School’s Modernization are Near Finalized

Since approval in January there has been meetings every two weeks with artictechts and stakeholders to draw up drafts and plans for Notre Dame High School’s modernization. After a lot of planning, the Lakeland Catholic School District is excited to announce that they have finalized the modernization plans for School in Bonnyville. Principal Pamela Gillbeault says they are working out the final details, including the small stuff like where the desks and smartboards will go. Once the final details are approved the school board will put a tender out to contractors to bid on the modernization job. Along, with updating equipment and making the school more functional in its design, the modernization will include a new gym that’ll allow the school to host athletic tournaments among other things. Principal Gillbeault says Alberta Infrastructure put a deadline of September 2016 for the project to be completed.
