Glendon Needs Volunteers to Put New Pyrogy Park Equipment Together

The village of Glendon is looking for about 30 volunteers to help them put some new playground equipment together for the Pyrogy Park.

Volunteers will be needed Thursday, Friday and Saturday beginning sometime between 9 and 9:30 each morning. A free lunch will be provided. So far, C.A.O Melody Kwaitkowski says they have about half the volunteers they need. If you’re interested, call the village office at 80-635-3807 and put your name down, send  a message through the village’s Facebook page or email [email protected].

The new playground equipment is part of a larger project to completely revitalize the Pyrogy Park with new landscaping as well. Kwaitkowski adds that a few pyrogy themed touches have been added to the equipment. Some of the pieces will have pyrogy shaped seats.
