Lac La Biche RCMP looking for suspects who shot at officer

Lac La Biche RCMP are on the hunt for two suspects who shot at a police officer yesterday.

Police were informed that the suspects -believed to be involved in several armed robberies- were driving from Wandering River into town in a dark pick up truck. An officer spotted it on Highway 55 and within a few minutes of following, the suspects fired a shot at the car. It hit the windshield but the officer was not hurt.

Police chased the car, which became immobile shortly after. Two of the four passengers were arrested but the other two remain at large.
