Glendon Man Arrested For Posession of Stolen Property

Bonnyville RCMP have arrested 22-year-old Derrick Preston at a residence in Glendon after discovering tons of stolen property.

Two other men were arrested at the scene but released after it was found they weren’t involved. Stolen items recovered include  a grey 2006 Chevrolet Equinox, household goods, a solar panel, a boat motor and alloy rims. Police also located a sawed off 12 gauge shot-gun.

RCMP have been returning what stolen property they can to their owners, but still have some that remain unclaimed. The Detachment is requesting that citizens  who have failed to report their property stolen including but not limited to: generators, shop vacuums, batteries, power tools, tool, sporting goods, and household goods come by the detachment. Police are asking that when you attend you provide serial numbers or very detailed descriptions of your items along with photographs. Police are also asking that residents who have previously reported thefts but were unable to provide serial numbers or detailed accounts of their items to attend to provide more information about their stolen items if possible.
